NISEKO
Hokkaido

The Mountain
Niseko is located on Hokkaido, which is the most northern prefecture in Japan. Niseko consists of four resorts, Niseko Grand Hirafu, Niseko Hanazano, Niseko village and Niseko Annupuri which are all connected at the mountain top. Niseko Grand Hirafu is the most famous for snow and apres activites. it also has all the necessary services such as English ski and snowboard schools, CAT skiing tours, backcountry tours which are all perfectly set up for international travellers.

The Location
The best way to get there is fly into Sapporo (New Chitose Airport) and catch the ski bus from the airport directly to Niseko, which takes about 2 hours 40 minutes. After bookiing your accommodation with us we will send you all travel information to make transit from the airport an easy and enjoyable experience.

Mid Jan 2019

We had a great time in Niseko.

We have stayed at North Point Pension before and have really enjoyed it. This time was no different and Tony and Carmen were great and super helpful.

Accommodation was everything we needed and breakfasts were great.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay so thanks for your help in booking!

Kind regards

Mid February 2014.

Thank you for recommending North Point Pension for my recent trip to Niseko Hirafu. Tim and Nic made my holiday! North Point is kept immaculate, and has all the facilities required for a comfortably stay and a great skiing experience. The shuttle bus was frequent and not far from the chalet, I even walked home from the slopes on several occasions. Overall I had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to go back next year!

Thanks

Late January 2014

I had a wonderful trip. "The serviced received from yourselves was very helpful and accommodating. You found me a very suitable room at my preferred budget during the peak time of the season. The chalet itself was nicely furnished and the room was a generous size. The hosts were very friendly and added to the ambience of the accommodation

Late February 2014

North Point is kept immaculate, and has all the facilities required for a comfortably stay and a great skiing experience. Day starts with a fabulous breakfast, then its mountain time with the fist run my Tim or Nic in the lodge van to the lifts. Generally there will be a second run around 9am for those in not such a hurry, which is kind of good , as there are no lift ques at this time. Enjoyed the mountain, snow was great , and a nice change from skiing in Australia. I would go back again, in fact my mate I travelled with is already planning a group to return to North Point next year. Once again thank you, and a huge thank-you to Nic and Tim at North Point Pension for their superb hospitality, and a lodge run to the highest standards.

Late February 2014

On my third trip to Niseko, we stayed at North Point Pension. We absolutely loved it! Our hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even making our "made to order" breakfast each morning with eggs and bacon. They helped us with rentals, transportation, and recommendations for everything from restaurants to onsens. Thank you Nikki and Tim! The pension had well spaced rooms that were very clean with heated floors (a must in the winter!). There were plenty of sinks and bathrooms for guests to use and an enormous showering area. They also had two living room areas to lounge or watch television and movies. Tons of bars and restaurants were within walking distance and the bus was less than five minutes away. I would definitely stay at North Point Pension next time and recommend it to anyone going to Niseko.

Mid January 2014

We had the most amazing time! We got North Point Pension so last minute and I don't think we could have found better accommodation. We were so happy with the lodging, and especially with the managers Tim and Nic. The mountain was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get hooked up with some locals who showed us all the secret spots and it made the trip so special. We took a couple day trips to Kiroro and Rusutsu. I would highly recommend that others take some day trips to other resorts. It is very cool to experience some of the smaller resorts that are less catered to westerners. We were incredibly happy with Niseko, such delightful food available everywhere and such welcoming people. I will definitely be back and am considering making it my home for a season or more! Thank you for helping us find lodging last minute. You were wonderfully helpful and we will definitely use you again!

 Early January 2014

We had an excellent trip, everything went buttery smooth all the way. The mountain and it's conditions is as everyone knows world class, at least in the powder department. Prices are reasonable, and also worth mentioning is the food, in most places the food is diverse, made to go fresh and tasty. Our accommodation, I can't speak highly enough about it. Fairly central location, clean, nice rooms, brilliant breakfast and some really knowledgeable, helpful and sweet hosts. All info I received from you guys were accurate and helpful and made our trip a breeze.

North Point is by far the most relaxed and comfortable place I've stayed at in Hirafu The pension itself has all the features needed post powder day such as a sitting room and separate TV room. The rooms are clean and larger than typical Japanese pensions. The breakfast supplied keeps you going all day and there are snacks supplied at the end of the day. There is a drying room running continously so your ski kit will be toasty warm each morning. North Point is close to all ammenities such as the lifts, shops and restaurants even though it's located in the lower part of the village. It's no more than a 10 min walk to the closest lift. The best onsen in town is a 3 min walk away. Tim & Nic run the loadge and are always on hand to look after all the guests needs such as supplying a washing machine and dryer free of charge. They pick you up from the bus stop when you arrive and run you to the lifts each morning. If they can help, they will. I've had a fantastic 10 night stay here and will gladly come back. Some rooms have a kind of mezzanine annex so could be good if you had a third person with you
